the Coronavirus COVID-19!

There is much to learn about the novel coronavirus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Based on what is currently known about the novel coronavirus and similar coronaviruses that cause SARS and MERS, spread from person-to-person with these viruses happens most frequently among close contacts (within about 6 feet). This type of transmission occurs via respiratory droplets. On the other hand, transmission of novel coronavirus to persons from surfaces contaminated with the virus has not been documented. Transmission of coronavirus occurs much more commonly through respiratory droplets than through fomites. Current evidence suggests that novel coronavirus may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.

Coronavirus (CoV) refers to a family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). SARS-CoV-2, also known as 2019-nCoV or the Wuhan coronavirus, is a novel or new coronavirus that was first identified in humans in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.
Coronavirus Disinfection & Sanitation
“Standard cleaning products that will kill other viruses will be presumptively fine against [SARS-CoV-2],” says Dr. Aaron Glatt, chief of infectious disease at Mount Sinai South Nassau in New York. Still, Glatt notes that as this is a new virus, “we obviously don’t have a ton of data on it.” And an important caveat is products must be used correctly.

Many cleaning products advertise their ability to kill nearly all bacteria and viruses that cause disease, including coronaviruses. What’s usually less prominent on their labels is the directive to use enough of the product to wet a surface for a period of up to several minutes, and then to allow the area to dry. “Some of these [products] don’t work by contact,” Glatt says. “They work by being on the surface for a while and drying via air.” (Don’t re-use wipes, either: Research suggests using the same one on multiple surfaces spreads germs.)

Hire professional cleanup services to reduce the chance of being killed by the coronavirus. We perform both reactive and proactive sanitization of facilities that are at risk for biohazards and communicable diseases.
DISINFECTION SERVICES
Disinfectant Fogging
The act of spraying or fogging of chemicals into rooms and surfaces.
Fogging is highly effective against known healthcare-related pathogens and is used to safely disinfect all environmental surfaces.

Electrostatic Disinfection
Electrostatic spray surface cleaning is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. Electrostatic spray uses a specialized solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside the sprayer.

Deadly Coronavirus through Air-Conditioning units - Get your Air Ducts Cleaned!
It’s not just hospitals, medical facilities, and laboratories that are at risk: other regulated environments such as schools, prisons and municipal buildings risk exposure to viruses.
*WARNING: The Coronavirus COVID 19 has been found to live and transfer through air duct systems, ask about special disinfecting and sanitizing your air ducts for those living in infected areas.

Did you know that your building’s air duct network acts as its respiratory system? As hidden dirt, dust, debris and microbial growth accumulate inside of air ducts, this system becomes clogged—making it difficult for your building to breathe properly and function efficiently. Unfortunately, dirty air ducts are also an ideal breeding ground for mold spores, mildew, bacteria (including Legionella) and other health-threatening microbial growth.

AIRCARE ENVIRONMENTAL'S is a preferred provider of commercial duct cleaning services for multiple major corporations, commercial property managers, hospitals, municipalities, school districts, retailers and hotels.

Whether you have a small, single building, chain business or sprawling commercial complex, we are meticulous in our approach and attuned to your individual needs.
